Members may access the national AAFCS Career Connection at www.aafcs.org.  Texas members who register their e-mail addresses with the TAFCS listserv will receive additional notice of FCS employment opportunities, as information becomes available.

Certifications and Accreditation - AAFCS offers exams for assessment of professional competencies and certifications for family and consumer sciences professionals. AAFCS is the sole accreditation agent in the United States for higher education institutions and units offering programs in family and consumer sciences.

Membership Options and Cost
TAFCS membership is composed of approximately 450 family and consumer science professionals with bachelors or advanced degrees in an area of specialization. Membership in the AAFCS and the TAFCS are simultaneous.
